This paisley engraved wedding or engagement ring for men is made in platinum 950 with a brushed finish. The 7mm wide ring has a soft court profile for comfort, making it suitable for everyday wear. The ring is slightly rounded on the inside for a comfortable fit, while also having a slightly rounded exterior for the engraving.
The paisley pattern is a curved abstract design that looks similar to a comma. The design derives its name from the town of Paisley in Renfrewshire, Scotland, where paisley shawls were made starting in the early 1800s. The paisley motif originates from India; from Mughal art through to the luxurious and sought after cashmere shawls of Kashmir. Today, our jewellery craftsmen are able to replicate this design as an engraved pattern.
