Every ring is made individually and inspired by eras such as Art Deco, Edwardian, and Victorian design. We have created over 10,000 bespoke rings since 1890, and each design remains exclusive to its owner.

Step 1: Consultation
Your bespoke journey begins with a complimentary consultation, either virtually or in a private viewing at our Hatton Garden headquarters. During this session, we:
- Discuss your ideas, style, and inspiration
- Review any images, sketches, or mood boards you bring
- Explore stones, metals, and design possibilities
- View our vast ready to wear collection to gather inspiration from our Original Designs from Stylish Eras
- Offer expert guidance and answer any questions
Step 2: Creating Your Design
With your vision defined, we bring your ideas to life through curated stones and a detailed brief so you can envision your piece before it’s made:
- We curate a selection of gemstones based on your style, preferences, and budget.
- Visit us in person to handpick your stones
- If required our designers will create your tailored computer aided design and a 3D print of the ring.
- Together, we refine proportions, metal choices, settings, and details until the design is perfect.
- There is a 10 day period where you can tweak your design before it comes to life.
Step 3: The Final Piece
Once your design is approved, our master craftsmen transform it into a beautifully finished, one-of-a-kind creation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the process take?
Most bespoke or customised rings are completed within 4-8 weeks. If a particular gemstone needs to be sourced, it may take longer. Your consultant will give you a clear timeline at your appointment. If you have a certain timeline you are working towards then we will always try our best to work your given date.
Can I see gemstones in person before choosing?
Yes. During your consultation you will be shown a selection of loose gemstones. We source from trusted suppliers in Hatton Garden, Sri Lanka and Brazil, with both Natural and Lab-grown Diamond options available.
What do bespoke engagement rings cost?
Prices vary depending on the gemstone and complexity of the design. Engagement rings begin from £2,500.
What is the difference between bespoke and custom rings?
Bespoke starts from a blank canvas. Every detail is designed from scratch to your vision. Custom means adapting one of our exclusive house designs, tailoring elements such as gemstone, metal or setting while keeping the original framework.
Do you offer engraving or personal touches?
Yes. Hand engraving such as laurel motifs or our Forget Me Not floral pattern can be added. Finishes may be polished or brushed. These touches make your ring distinctly yours. If you require any inside engraving there will be a £8 charge per character. Your consultant will be able to tell you wether any add-ons are doable with your design.
How do I know the quality is assured?
Every ring is hallmarked by the London Goldsmiths Assay Office, and all diamonds and gemstones are selected by experienced gemmologists. Each ring passes through full quality checks.
Can I change my design later?
Small refinements can be made during the design process. Once the ring is made, there is minimal scope for design changes as your ring has been made to your bespoke requirements. Rings can be resized free of charge after proposing.
What if the ring does not fit?
We offer complimentary free resizing within one year of purchase for bespoke rings.
Do you offer discreet packaging for proposals?
Rings can be delivered in discreet packaging to keep your proposal a surprise. We recommend visiting us to collect your ring if you are local.
What aftercare is included?
We provide a complimentary annual clean and check to keep your ring in the best condition, along with ongoing care advice from our Hatton Garden team.
