20th Century Inspired Bridal Couture Wedding Shoot with Kate Edmondson
With inspiration for her designs taken from the past, Kate Edmondson’s bridal couture is a wonderful combination of contemporary and vintage design. We were delighted to be a part of this 20th century inspired London wedding shoot showcasing our vintage-style scalloped diamond wedding ring.
London wedding venue, Queen’s House, Greenwich
The Kate Edmondson bridal shoot was shot on location at the historic Queen’s House at the Royal Museums in Greenwich.
Available as a wedding venue, The Queen’s House is set in Greenwich Park, London. The house was originally commissioned by James I for his Queen and was eventually finished and given to Charles I's queen consort Henrietta Maria. While its use as a Royal residence was short-lived, it is now home to glorious galleries (being home to the famous Armada Portrait of Elizabeth I) and lavish halls that are a wonderful setting for a wedding.
“We wanted a venue for our photoshoot that had the same criteria, and Queen’s House at the Royal Museums, Greenwich, was the perfect setting for this. Originally conceived as a ‘House of Delight’ for a queen, it lived up to its name with all the elements of a modern fairytale: perfectly geometric tiling, a bold and sweeping staircase, the floral wall of dreams, and a psychedelic swirled flooring fit for a wonderland.”

The Bridal Shoot
The focus of this bridal shoot was on the stunning, bespoke wedding dresses designed and created by Kate Edmondson. Each dress has its own unique look, with high lace collars, billowing sleeves and floaty dresses.
To complement these romantic wedding dresses our Scalloped Diamond Half Eternity Wedding Ring seemed a perfect choice. The scalloped design of the wedding ring echoing the silhouette of the lace wedding dresses and vintage aesthetic.
This diamond wedding ring features a half band of alternating round and oval shapes set with white diamonds edged with millegrain detailing.
