Our client wanted a large square sapphire with a similarly shaped diamond on either side. The ring to be created should be in the Art Deco style. We showed him several sapphires that could be suitable, and one sapphire was just right! Sometimes a gemstone will be so obviously right, it almost 'speaks' to the viewer.
The clear blue was the perfect colour and the shape was the right size. Two matched diamonds completed the look, which really did have the 'wow factor'.
