How to order if I don't know the ring size?

If you do not know the ring size required, please select the ‘I don’t know’ option. Your ring will be made in an average size, and can be re-sized free of charge the first time within one year after purchase.

* Hand engraved wedding rings are bespoke designs made especially for the ring size selected. Depending on the complexity of the design, it is not always possible to re-size hand engraved wedding rings. How to ensure the correct ring size when the ring is a surprise?

If you are giving a ring as a complete surprise, there are several ways to guess the correct size. Here are some suggestions:

  • Compare her engagement ring finger with your own fingers so that you have a form of comparison for size.
  • See if there are any rings that she wears on the same finger that can be used to obtain a guide to her size. You can visit us and we can help you gauge the correct size from your partner’s ring. Alternatively, you could visit a local jeweller and kindly ask them for the UK ring size.
  • If appropriate, ask her friends and family.
Working out your own ring size

You can visit us so we can check your ring size at an appointment. If visiting us is not possible, you may want to ask a local jeweller. It is worth noting the size of your fingers can change throughout the day and can often be slightly larger towards the end of day. It is advisable to measure your ring size at the beginning of the day, if possible, or when you are not too warm.

The perfect fit

Your ring should sit snugly on the finger. Ideally your ring should not spin around the finger. It is common to lightly push a ring over the knuckle and for it to fit comfortably on the base of the finger. Your ring may be slightly tighter to remove at night time or when you are hot.
