St Paul’s Cathedral

A 15-minute walk from our office is the historic landmark of St Paul’s Cathedral. Founded in 604, the building was damaged beyond repair in The Great Fire of London in August 1666. The famous British architect Sir Christopher Wren designed the new building and it was completed in 1708.

For the experience and for great views of London, climb the stairs to one of the galleries in the dome. The dome is 111.3 metres high, making this the second largest cathedral dome in the world. The Whispering Gallery is a climb of only 257 steps, although you might want to also climb the 376 steps to the Stone Gallery.  For the brave, the walk up to the Golden Gallery is 528 steps.
