Ring Sizing Guide

How to ensure the correct ring size when the ring is a surprise

If you are giving a ring as a complete surprise there is no exact way to guess the correct size. Here are some helpful suggestions:

  • Compare her engagement ring finger with your own fingers so that you have some form of comparison for size.
  • See if there are any rings that she wears on the same finger that can be used to obtain a guide to her size. You can visit us and we can help you gauge the correct size from your partner's ring. Alternatively, you could visit a local jeweller and kindly ask them for the UK ring size.
  • If appropriate, ask her friends and family.

If you are unable to find out the ring size, this is not a problem. Please select the "I don't know" selection. We will make the ring in an average size and re-size free of charge the first time.

For advice, it’s best to call us and we will be happy to advise you on the best ring size to select. Please call us on 0207 1934412. We are here to help!

Working out your own ring size The perfect fit

It is always best to visit a local jeweller to measure your ring size. You can visit us and we can check your ring size at an appointment. It is worth noting the size of your fingers can change throughout the day and can often be slightly larger towards the end of day. It is best to have your finger measured at the beginning of the day, if possible, or when you are not too warm.

Your ring should sit snugly on the finger. Ideally your ring should not spin around the finger. It is common to lightly push a ring over the knuckle and for it to fit comfortably on the base of the finger. Your ring may be slightly tighter to remove at night time or when you are hot.

Bespoke Oval Tanzanite and Diamond Ring

It is nice to have a bit of luxury in our lives, whether it is a special dress or a long anticipated holiday. A gift of jewellery lasts long after the clothing has been worn and the destination is a memory.

Our client admired the vibrant blue colour of tanzanite, one of the world's most recently discovered gemstones. After trying on several of our exquisite ring designs to see which highlighted the chosen tanzanite to the greatest effect, this lovely Art Deco ring, set with round diamond accents, was chosen.

If you would like a tanzanite or another special gemstone for your ring, please contact us. We source stones from around the world and we can help you to find the right stone for you.

This is a guide price. Please contact us to begin designing your bespoke ring.
